About us

We are Pim and Joey, and we founded Equipo.me in 2015. From our football friends team in Amsterdam, we noticed a need for a system where we could keep track of who was present when. At that time, this was still done via WhatsApp, but it proved practically cumbersome and very prone to errors.

That's why we built Equipo.me. Initially, it was just for our own team, but in the first year, we noticed interest in our platform from other friends' teams. Purely through word of mouth, we grew to 400 active users in our first year.

After that, we started expanding Equipo.me with features like "goal tracking," "task tracking," "money pot," and "man of the match voting." We have now grown to over 10,000 active users and continue to grow.

Our goal is to build a platform that is as simple and clear as possible, allowing teams to track attendance and distribute tasks as fairly as possible. Therefore, we will continue to intensively develop the platform in the coming years.
